The Friends of El Cerrito Library annual public meeting on May 14, 2015 was an overwhelming success. Many people attended and had lots of questions for guest speaker Bob Gerner, co-founder and general manager of The Natural Grocery Company, after El Cerrito librarian Anasa Tatum interviewed Bob.
Tom Panas led the short business portion of the meeting, which included the unanimous election of the slate of nominees for the Board of the Friends and a brief discussion of the campaign for a new library.
Keep your book, CD, and DVD donations coming! We’re starting to plan for the huge September sale (Saturday, September 26 and Sunday September 27; bag sale on October 3) in the parking lot and library basement.
