Volunteering at the children’s table at the recent library sale, it was great to see:
– Youngsters excited about books, taking time to look at books, finding many of interest
– A few teachers or relatives of teachers buying books for their under-resourced schools
– Purchasers wanting us to keep the change for library needs
– A love of hard-copy books in our digital age
