The Friends of the El Cerrito Library recently received a huge donation of science fiction and fantasy paperbacks–16 boxes of them! We have so many that we’re holding a special sale, with lots of romance novels and fiction paperbacks, too.
All books are 50 cents each or three for $1.
Speaking of sales, the spring book sale brought in more than $700 — an all-time record!
We are also selling selected books online and doing quite nicely. FECL Board Member Ann Goolsby reported that 69 books were mailed out to new homes in April.
The FECL welcomes donations of good used books, CDs, DVDs, record albums and sheet music. Donations up to one shopping bag or box can be left at the main desk of the library whenever the library is open. If you have a larger donation, please bring them to the rear of the library from noon to 4 p.m. on Mondays or 2-4 p.m. on Saturdays. Please do not leave donations outside the door or in the book drop.
