Teddy Bear & Craft Making Fans! Friends has a new collection of craft books on making teddy bears. Come to our Serendipity Saturday Book Sale on April 1st to browse. We have many craft books for sale. If you love making things, there’s bound to be a book for you! Our first Serendipity Saturday Book Sale of 2023! It's April 1st – no fooling! – from 12 noon to 4pm. The sale will be in the basement of the Library at 6510 Stockton Avenue, EC. All book genres will be available, along with some music CDs and DVDs. Most items are $5 and under. Please the word and we hope to see you! The Library will be closed, so there will be no donations accepted on the following two Saturdays, December 24th and 30th. We will reopen on January 7th, 2023. Happy Holidays and Happy New Year to everyone! A Serendipity Saturday Don't forget! New to our annual sales, a table dedicated to recently published books (last 2 years) and assorted fine books. We hope to see you! Check it out! The Friends of El Cerrito Library is having a book sale on Oct. 8, 10am – 3pm in the Library’s parking lot. There will be over a thousand of recently donated books to choose from: fiction, non-fiction, and children’s books too. 100% of sales support the Library’s programming and collection materials. Three more days! Friends of El Cerrito Library’s annual Spring Book Sale is on May 21, 2022 from 10am-3pm in the Library’s parking lot. Used books of all subjects for all ages! The Wildcat 4-H Club will be there with activities for kids. The Library will be promoting their summer reading program “Read Beyond the Beaten Path with Summer Reading 2022” starting on June 1st.
