Volunteering at the children’s table at the recent library sale, it was great to see:
– Youngsters excited about books, taking time to look at books, finding many of interest
– A few teachers or relatives of teachers buying books for their under-resourced schools
– Purchasers wanting us to keep the change for library needs
– A love of hard-copy books in our digital age
This Saturday is your chance to really stock up on good reading material.
The Bag Sale is happening in the Friends of Library basement collection room.
Take a shopping bag and fill it with as many books as you want. No matter if you have 5 or 40 books, a bag will set you back only $3.00!
